Williams Pipeline Co. Completes Underwater Soil Sample Collection for Proposed Pipeline
Williams Pipeline Co. geologists completed their collection of underwater soil samples from Coos Bay, accompanied on the boat by a reporter for The World. Preliminary results from previous samples suggest that the route for Williams’ new Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline, which would transport natural gas from the proposed Jordan Cove LNG terminal, will be viable. The final collection of samples was delayed until an appeal to the Coos Bay Planning Commission was recently denied.
