Ventura County Star Endorses Cabrillo Port Critic

The Ventura County Star has endorsed Democrat Pedro Nava’s re-election bid to represent the 35^th District in the California State Assembly. The newspaper compares Nava’s position on BHP Billiton’s proposed Cabrillo Port LNG terminal with his opponent Cristina Martin’s position. Nava has expressed concern regarding the potential environmental impacts of the terminal and has called for an objective study to determine whether the LNG imports are needed.
