Trinidad Unable to Supply LNG to Jamaica
Trinidad and Tobago is unable to provide Jamaica with LNG from any of its four liquefaction trains due to limited supply, according to the president of Trinidad’s state-owned National Gas Company. “There is still the intention to assist in that regard with the supply of LNG, but…it will come from a future LNG train in Trinidad … which is a question mark,” Frank Look Kin said last week at an energy conference. The Jamaica Gleaner has further details.
