Trinidad Politician Fears Nation Will Exhaust Gas Reserves
Trinidad & Tobago’s Newsday reports that Carolyn Seepersad-Bachan, former chairman of the National Petroleum Company, has warned that her nation’s gas reserves may run out in only 12 years. Ms. Seepersad-Bachan, now running for office with the Congress of the People Party, cited booming demand from the construction business and Atlantic LNG’s new Train IV as the main factors in the accelerating depletion of reserves.
