State Action Delayed on Bradwood Landing LNG Terminal Application
According to the Daily Astorian, the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has delayed its final decision on the Bradwood Landing LNG terminal application at the request of project-backer NorthernStar Natural Gas Co., which needs to provide the state agency with more information regarding the project’s water quality certification. The Daily Astorian also reports that the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development has similarly agreed to move its decision deadline on the project’s coastal zone consistency certification from September 21, 2008, to January 19, 2009.
