The Telegraph-Journal reports that it received from a St. John, N.B. city council member a letter, which indicates that some local elected officials have been inconsistent in their opposition to a property tax agreement for the Canaport LNG project. Three city council members and the city’s Deputy Mayor responded to the letter and told the Telegraph-Journal that they have always opposed the tax agreement.
