Southeast LNG: Savannah Officials Can Pick LNG Truck Delivery Routes
Speaking during a meeting of the Chatham County legislative delegation, President Bruce Hughes of Southeast LNG said that City of Savannah officials can select the routes taken by Southeast LNG trucks transporting LNG through the city from the Elba Island LNG import facility. The Savannah Morning News also reports that Hughes confirmed that the company will “never load more than 58 trucks during a 24-hour period.”
Separately, the City of Savannah announced that it will host a town hall meeting on the Southeast LNG proposal on March 7, 2011. WSAV News provides additional details.
