Senator Wyden Supports DOE Secretary Nominee Moniz

Today, the U.S. Senate Energy & Natural Resources Committee held a confirmation hearing for U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary nominee Ernest Moniz. Committee Chairman Ron Wyden released a statement following the hearing in support of Moniz’s nomination. According to Bloomberg, at the hearing Moniz stated that DOE should consider the cumulative effects of increased LNG exports and should review LNG export applications on a case by case basis.
