Sen. Wyden to Ask for Pres. Obama’s Support on LNG Facility Siting Bill
Speaking at a town hall meeting in Astoria, Ore., U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden (D) told the assembled crowd that he will press for legislation that will give greater authority over the siting of LNG facilities to state agencies. Sen. Wyden said that he plans to ask for President Barack Obama’s support for the measure, noting that the President supported the measure when he was a member of the U.S. Senate.
