Residents of Coos County, Ore. May Fight Pipeline From Proposed LNG Terminal

Oregon Live covers an Associated Press article reporting on the request of Williams Northwest for permission from Coos County residents to survey their property in preparation for a major pipeline to transport gas from the proposed Jordan Cove LNG regasification terminal to gas markets east and south of the facility.  Residents of Coos County fought the construction of a much smaller pipeline last year, and are expected to fight the new proposal.  The company expects to have a proposed route identified by June, and will then submit an environmental impact statement thereafter.
