Report: U.S. LNG Imports Likely to Slow in Short-Term
Despite strong growth in LNG imports during the first half of 2007, a Jefferies & Co. report predicts that fewer LNG cargos will be delivered to the U.S. market over the next six months, according to Platts LNG Daily. The report cites increased demand from Europe and Japan, as well as large storage supplies in the United States, as reasons for the slowdown in LNG receipts. [Subscription required]
