A report in the Financial Times suggests that due to diminishing gas reserves, Trinidad & Tobago may shift its focus from exploration and production of natural gas to downstream activities, possibly including processing gas imported from Venezuela. The piece notes that negotiations have stalled between the two countries over a large gas field that straddles their maritime border.
