Radio Interview with Richard Clarke Regarding Outer Brewster Island

On March 7, Boston’s WBZ News Radio 1030 featured a lengthy interview with counterterrorism expert Richard Clarke and his colleague Roger Cressey of Good Harbor Consulting, to discuss the proposed LNG facility on Outer Brewster Island. Clarke stated that, based on his security assessment, Outer Brewster is the “perfect place” for an LNG terminal. Clarke also noted that a terminal such as the one proposed by AES for Outer Brewster has enough import capacity that it could replace the existing Everett LNG terminal. Bruce Berman of Save the Harbor/Save the Bay delivered the counterpoint to Clarke and Cressey. The audio file of the news program can be played or downloaded here.
