Oregon Labor Leader Offers Support for Bradwood Landing LNG Project
In an op-ed published this week by The Oregonian, Tom Chamberlain, president of the Oregon AFL-CIO, argues in favor of the Bradwood Landing LNG regasification terminal. Chamberlain notes that potential benefits of the project include the creation of up to 450 jobs during the three-year construction of the facility, energy savings for local natural gas customers and an additional $8 million a year in taxes to be paid by Bradwood Landing to Clatsop County.
