The World features coverage of Tuesday’s town hall meeting with U.S. Rep. Peter DeFazio (D-Ore.), who fielded questions about Jordan Cove Energy’s LNG terminal proposed for Coos Bay, Ore. Attendees raised concerns about the terminal, its associated pipeline, and the role of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 in LNG terminal siting. According to The World, residents were surprised to hear DeFazio say that the International Port of Coos Bay could halt the project.
