Oral Arguments in Crown Landing Dispute Set for Next Week
A Special Master appointed by the U.S. Supreme Court is slated to hear oral arguments on Feb. 22 in the dispute between New Jersey and Delaware related to the construction of BP’s proposed Crown Landing terminal in Logan Township, N.J. According to The Gloucester County Times, New Jersey officials expect the Special Master to issue his recommendation to the Supreme Court four to six weeks after the hearing. A spokesperson for the New Jersey state attorney general notes that both parties can file exceptions to the report; oral arguments on those exceptions could be scheduled for fall 2007.
