Opponents of Proposed Bradwood Landing LNG Terminal Submit Signatures for Referendum

The Daily Astorian reports that opponents of the proposed Bradwood Landing LNG import terminal submitted more than 1,200 signatures supporting a referendum on Clatsop County’s approval of the LNG project, over twice the number required to place the issue on the ballot in September. Also, the Daily Astorian notes that a challenge to the proposed ballot language was heard in county court yesterday, but the decision will not affect the validity of the signatures.
