Opponents of Bradwood Landing LNG Project File Brief with Ninth Circuit
A number of non-profit groups filed a brief with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit this week arguing that FERC did not adequately assess the environmental impacts of the Bradwood Landing LNG project on local resources and that the local energy market does not require LNG imports. The groups ask the court to vacate FERC’s order authorizing construction of the terminal and its associated pipeline. The brief is available in the PACER system under Docket No. 09-70269. The Forest Grove News-Times provides further details.
