Op-Eds Discuss Effects of Decision to Shutdown Kenai LNG Export Facility
Alaskan House Speaker Mike Chenault (R) offers an op-ed piece carried by the Alaska Dispatch this morning that discusses the effects of the decision to shutdown the Kenai LNG export facility. Speaker Chenault notes that the decision will have a serious impact on the workers at the facility, many of whom are his constituents, and that the decision should encourage the construction of an in-state gas pipeline to transport natural gas from northern Alaska to markets in the southern part of the state.
