Op-Ed: Broadwater LNG Terminal Not Consistent with States’ Interests
Leah Schmalz of the anti-Broadwater group Save the Sound offers an Op-Ed, carried by the Connecticut Post, stating that the Broadwater LNG regasification terminal proposed for Long Island Sound is not consistent with Connecticut and New York’s interests in pursuing environmentally-friendly and energy-efficient energy policies. She also notes that FERC ought to consider the size of the exclusion and security zones surrounding the terminal as part of the project’s “footprint.”
