Mark Turner, president of Newfoundland LNG Ltd., told the Telegraph-Journal (New Brunswick, Canada) he is confident in the transshipment facility project, saying “[s]trategically we are well placed” in the middle of European shipping routes. Turner also told the newspaper he does not believe his project will compete with the Canaport LNG regasification terminal currently under construction in St. John, N.B., noting that “[t]he two LNG projects are completely different.”
