New Trade Group Opposing LNG Exports Releases Survey Results; API Responds
America’s Energy Advantage (AEA), a group consisting of industrial gas users and the American Public Gas Association, released the results of a survey that purports to show that American voters believe that U.S.-produced natural gas should be used in the United States for domestic economic gain and that the U.S. government “should proceed with caution and deliberation when considering exports of [LNG].” Read more in the press release.
The American Petroleum Institute (API) issued a statement in response to AEA calling efforts to restrict exports of LNG “misguided” and warning that restricting LNG exports could have negative impacts on the U.S. economy and American families.
