McCain Campaign Advisor Concerned that Global LNG Cartel Could Develop

John McCarrick, an energy advisor to Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) presidential campaign, told the Natural Gas Roundtable that he was concerned that an “OPEC-like cartel” could develop in the global LNG industry. According to Platts LNG Daily, McCarrick went on to note that the campaign has its “eyes on the political hot spots to make sure natural gas is part of our foreign policy.” [Subscription required]
