Massachusetts State Reps. Urge Federal Government to Close Potential WTO LNG Loophole

State Reps. David Sullivan (D) and Byron Rushing (D) have pushed a resolution through the Massachusetts House of Representatives which urges the U.S. Trade Representative to exclude LNG terminals from ongoing negotiations with the World Trade Organization. Rep. Sullivan is concerned could negatively affect state authority over LNG terminal siting matters, including the Weaver’s Cove proposal in Fall River, Mass. Read more in the Herald News.
