Today’s Los Angeles Times analyzes the request submitted by the town of Gloucester, Mass., to receive federal funding under a Department of Homeland Security program. Two LNG deepwater ports, Excelerate’s Northeast Gateway and GDF Suez’s Neptune LNG, are located between seven and ten miles from the town in the Atlantic Ocean.
