The Long Island Association and other local business organizations declined to either support or oppose Broadwater Energy’s planned LNG terminal in Long Island Sound when interviewed for an article in today’s Newsday. One representative acknowledged Long Island’s need for energy and commented, “[W]e have to explore the alternatives and then let it work its way [through] the process and see how it goes.”
