Local critics convened before FERC, Department of Transportation, and U.S. Coast Guard representatives Tuesday night to express their concerns about the Jordan Cove LNG terminal proposed for Coos Bay, Ore. Most of the attendees’ comments reflected opposition to the project, some of them quite strong, based onconcerns over public safety and the environment. According to World Link, at least one person who spoke in favor of the terminal was booed by the overflow crowd.
