Local Officials Hear Both Sides of Bradwood Landing LNG Debate

Over the course of a 12-hour public hearing held at a local high school, Clatsop County (Ore.) Planning Commissioners heard from staff members, NorthernStar officials, and local residents both in favor of, and opposed to, the proposed Bradwood Landing LNG terminal. In its summary of the hearing, the Daily Astorian reports that over 140 individuals offered testimony and 40 others wished to speak, prompting the scheduling of a second hearing for 10 a.m. on July 17.
