LNG Presentations, Protest Scheduled This Week

A representative of Ratepayers for Affordable Clean Energy will give a series of presentations this week titled “The Case Against LNG.” The presentations will take place on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and are sponsored by local environmental organizations, including RiverVision. RiverVision also is sponsoring a “Rally for a Clean Energy Future” Friday, May 5, at the Portland World Trade Center, in response to an LNG development conference being held there Thursday and Friday.
