Yesterday the Wall Street Journal published an analysis of the emerging floating LNG (FLNG) vessel concept. The piece notes that floating liquefaction facilities face a number of technical challenges, including the problem of minimizing LNG sloshing, and financial challenges, such as maintaining project profitability in the face of soft global natural gas prices.
