Jordan Cove Energy Delays Submission of Application to FERC
Jordan Cove Energy has delayed again the filing of its application to develop an LNG terminal in Coos Bay, Ore., in order to respond to a FERC data request. The request, prompted by the U.S. Coast Guard, seeks additional safety and environmental information regarding vessels servicing the proposed facility. “We are responding to that and now plan to submit our application by late June,” said project manager Bob Braddock. According to The World, the company’s initial deadline of Jan. 31 had already been pushed to April 2 because the developer was unable to complete the second drafts of various resource reports. FERC’s March 20 request may be found in the e-Library in Docket No. PF06-25.
