Jamaican Government Expected to Delay Decision on LNG Import Terminal

According to Stephen Wedderburn, LNG project manager for the state-owned Petroleum Corp. of Jamaica, the Jamaican government is expected to delay a final decision on the proposed LNG import terminal for the island nation. Wedderburn blamed the expected delay on unclear cost estimates and an ongoing debate about whether coal or natural gas would be better energy options for the future.
