Jamaican Prime Minister Bruce Golding announced yesterday that he has established a ministerial committee comprised of several members of his cabinet to oversee the development of the country’s planned LNG import project. A subordinate steering committee that reports to the ministerial committee will be responsible for financial investment decisions, the commercial structure of the project, and contractual arrangements.
