Industry Officials Expect U.S. LNG Imports to Increase in Coming Years

Platts LNG Daily reports that several industry officials expect U.S. LNG imports to increase significantly over the next several years, particularly during the summer months when LNG demand declines in European and Asian markets.

Separately, Platts also reports that Clay Harris, CEO of Suez LNG NA, said that he expects LNG imports to the United States to increase for a variety of reasons, including the expected growth in global liquefaction capacity. [Subscription required]
