Federal and California state agencies have scheduled public hearings next month to solicit feedback regarding the FEIS/FEIR for BHP Billiton’s proposed Cabrillo Port LNG terminal. The U.S. Coast Guard and Maritime Administration officials will hold a hearing on April 4 in Oxnard, Calif. The California State Lands Commission’s hearing will take place at the same location on April 9. The California Coastal Commission will meet in Santa Barbara April 10-13 to determine whether the terminal is consistent with the state’s coastal laws.
