Gulf LNG Receives State Environmental Permits
The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources yesterday approved certain permits for the 1.5 Bcf/d Gulf LNG Energy project proposed for Pascagoula. The permits will allow Gulf LNG to dredge and fill certain portions of Bayou Casotte if other state agencies and the Army Corps of Engineers also approve. According to a detailed story by the Mississippi Press, the project will include creation of a 7.6 acre coastal marsh.
