In an interview with the Daily Astorian, Oregon Gov. Ted Kulongoski said that he does not believe that Oregon needs LNG to meet the state’s energy demands. He also noted that his administration is continuing its appeal of FERC’s approval of the Bradwood Landing LNG project even though the developer of the project, NorthernStar Natural Gas, has filed for bankruptcy protection, saying “I don’t want anyone else to buy [Bradwood Landing LNG].”
