Gazprom Plans to Enter U.S. LNG Market

Gazprom expects to finalize a number of U.S. LNG initiatives in “the next three to six months,” according to John Hattenberger, director of Gazprom Marketing and Trading. He said that the company is exploring several ways to enter the U.S. LNG market, including starting a U.S.-based company or acquiring an existing company with U.S. marketing and trading activities.
