Gazprom and Shell Sign Agreement to Transport LNG to Mexico
Yesterday’s Forth Worth Business Press reports on a recent agreement between Gazprom and Royal Dutch Shell that allows Shell to transport LNG from Russia to Sempra’s Energia Costa Azul terminal in Mexico. Gazprom’s management committee chairman, Alexey Miller, noted that, “this deal will enable Gazprom to begin shipment of LNG supplies from Sakhalin II to the United States, the world’s largest gas market, and other markets in the Pacific Basin, starting from this year.”
