Freeport-McMoRan Submits Amended Application for Main Pass LNG
In a press release issued yesterday, Freeport-McMoRan announced that it has resubmitted its application for the proposed offshore Main Pass Energy Hub LNG terminal to reflect changes in the project’s initial design. The New Orleans-based company decided to forego the use of open-rack vaporizers to regasify LNG and switch to closed-loop regasification technology following Louisiana Gov.
