Freeport LNG Lifts Roof on Second Tank

In a press release issued Sept. 22, Freeport LNG Development, L.P. announced that it raised the dome on the second of two containment tanks at its LNG terminal located approximately 70 miles south of Houston. “Lifting the second tank roof represents a significant milestone for our project and confirms our commitment to be the first new land-based LNG terminal completed in the United States in nearly 30 years,” said Michael Smith, chairman and CEO of Freeport LNG.
