FERC to Hold Technical Conference on LNG Applications
FERC has announced that it will convene a technical conference May 9 to consider comments on the information it will require as part of every application for new or expanded LNG facilities. The conference will consider comments on its draft guidance regarding two reports that must be filed with every application. Resource Report 11 addresses reliability and safety issues and Resource Report 13 covers engineering and design. The content of the latter report is critical energy infrastructure information and therefore unavailable to the public. The conference will be open to the public, but requires pre-registration. The notice may be viewed at FERC’s e-Library in Docket No. AD06-4.
