FERC Denies CEII Request for Broadwater LNG Data

On Friday, FERC issued an order denying C. Lincoln Jewett of the Darien Advisory Commission access to CEII information contained in resource reports filed by Broadwater Energy. According to FERC, “the non-public portions of the requested reports contain information that presents concerns beyond CEII.” Specifically, FERC concluded that the requested data is exempt from disclosure under FOIA because it contains commercially sensitive information and protected archeological data.
