The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has issued an order authorizing Venture Global Plaquemines LNG, LLC (Plaquemines LNG) to export U.S.-sourced LNG to nations without a free trade agreement (non-FTA) with the United States. Plaquemines LNG is authorized to export up to 1,240 Bcf/year (3.4 Bcf/day) of LNG equivalent over a 20-year term from the proposed Plaquemines LNG Project in Plaquemines Parish, La.
