FERC Releases Final EIS for the Gulf LNG Liquefaction Project

FERC has released the final environmental impact statement (EIS) for the proposed Gulf LNG Liquefaction Project consisting of liquefaction and LNG export facilities at existing LNG import terminal in Jackson County, Miss., and related interconnected pipeline facility modifications. The final EIS “concludes that approval of the proposed Project, with the mitigation measures recommended in the EIS, would have some adverse environmental impacts; however, these impacts would be avoided or reduced to less-than-significant levels.”
