Reuters reports that the United States and Panama will sign an agreement intended to expand private investment to allow greater U.S. LNG access to Latin American countries. Under the proposal, U.S. LNG supplies would be shipped to the new AES Colón LNG terminal in Panama and then distributed to countries the region.
