Fourchon LNG Receives DOE Export Authorization

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has issued an order authorizing Fourchon LNG LLC (Fourchon LNG) to export up to 260 Bcf/yr of LNG (0.71 Bcf/day) by vessel from its proposed liquefaction facility to be located on Port Fourchon at Belle Pass in Lafourche Parish, La. Fourchon LNG is authorized to export the LNG over a 30-year period to Free Trade Agreement (FTA) nations and over a 20-year period to non-FTA nations.
