FERC has approved Commonwealth LNG, LLC’s request to initiate the pre-filing environmental review process for Commonwealth LNG’s proposed liquefaction and LNG export facility in Cameron Parish, La. along the South Prong of Grand Bayou. The project would have a liquefaction capacity of approximately 9 million tonnes per annum. Commonwealth intends to file a formal application for the project with FERC no later than August 2018.
