DOE Releases LNG Export Data through April 2017
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has released data on U.S. LNG exports and imports for the period January 2017 through April 2017. The data show that, during April, 15 cargoes of domestically produced LNG were shipped from Cheniere Energy’s Sabine Pass LNG terminal in Cameron Parish, La. Four cargoes were sent to Mexico, three to Argentina, two each to Kuwait, Chile and Japan, and one to each of South Korea and United Arab Emirates. Prices ranged from $3.65 to $6.65/MMBtu. Also during April, four cargoes of LNG in ISO containers were shipped by American LNG Marketing LLC to Barbados from Hialeah, Fla., at $10.00/MMBtu.
