Driftwood LNG Receives Long-Term FTA Export Authority

The U.S. Department of Energy has issued an order authorizing Driftwood LNG LLC to export domestically produced LNG by vessel from the proposed Driftwood LNG Facility located in Calcasieu Parish, La. to nations with a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the United States. The volume authorized for export is equivalent to approximately 1,496.5 Bcf/year of natural gas for a 30-year term.
